PENN STATE UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES

Signage & Exhibit Design

The Penn State University Library utilizes digital displays to inform students and patrons while engaging them through rotating exhibitions. I was tasked with designing a series of welcoming digital signages and a dynamic three-panel presentation showcasing historical articles and imagery from the 1918–1919 influenza pandemic. The exhibition launched alongside Penn State’s public health campaign, reinforcing themes of collective responsibility and community safety.

The final deliverables include vibrant welcome screens featuring location-inspired bookmark elements, as well as a continuous, newspaper-style page-turning exhibit. Warm paper textures and highly legible typography bridge traditional print aesthetics with a modern digital format, creating an immersive and accessible viewing experience.
